Custom-built mechanical keyboards are still a niche industry. Although they have existed for a long time, limited supply, few vendors, and high costs have kept the community small. When I was Creative Director at Divinikey, I wanted to bring something different to the community. We noticed people expressing themselves through their keyboard builds and keycap choices, but individuality still had room to grow. I realized that no one in this space had created mechanical keyboard-related apparel yet, so why not create another outlet for enthusiasts to express their passion?
Concept
This collection was inspired by customer testimonials highlighting Divinikey's dedication and the value the company provides to its customers. The main objective was to create keyboard-inspired art without being overtly about keyboards, allowing it to be appreciated on any occasion while reflecting the company’s values in the design.
